Phil Strassler, through Strassler, LLC consults with families of wealth and single-family offices on strategy, successful business practices and building sustainable Family Investment Offices. From 2008 he has been instrumental in the creation and staffing of some of the largest SFOs on the East Coast. Phil leads head of Family Office Division of JSB Partners. Phil is a former the Chair of the Family Office Committee of the New York State Society of CPAs and former Director of Fieldpoint Private Bank. In addition to his consulting group, Phil is a founder of the Larry Kraus Tax Institute for Family Offices which develops programs that provide Single Family Offices with an understanding of relevant tax issues. In 2007, he retired as a Partner at Marcum & Kliegman LLP, where he was instrumental in fueling the firm’s growth from $20 million in revenues with 30 professionals, to nearly $120 million with 500 professionals by the time he left to launch Strassler, LLC. At Marcum & Kliegman LLP he founded and was the leader of the Private Wealth Services and Alternative Investment Group practices. From 2008 - 2010 Phil developed and taught the Emerging Leadership Program to Marcum & Kliegman LLP Senior Managers and Partners. Prior to joining Marcum & Kliegman LLP, Phil was a Partner at a billion-dollar mezzanine/leveraged buyout fund. In this capacity, he provided investment analysis and tax advice. Phil also spent ten years working on tax, business advice and investment analysis for a single-family office. On an ongoing basis, Phil speaks on hedge fund, investment partnership and family office organization and tax planning and has written numerous articles for The Tax Advisor, The CPA Journal, The Journal of Practical Estate Planning, as well as other publications. During his tenure at Marcum & Kliegman LLC, he was the Publisher of Private Investment Forum, Marcum & Kliegman LLP’s quarterly publication directed at hedge funds and investment partnerships. Phil is a member of the AICPA and NYSSCPA and is a member of the NYSSCPA Taxation of Financial Instruments and Transactions and Family Office Committees. Phil has a B.B.A. from Hofstra University and lives in Wellington, Florida and Roslyn Heights, New York.

Rich is Founder of Xylogenesis® | Family Office Advisory and serves as a family advisor with 25+ years of first-hand, inner working experience of multiple family offices (of all types). Rich’s background is in law, business, independent board of director service, management, operations, financial services, and professional service firm leadership with a focus on serving multigenerational families and their full business and life continuum of needs. Rich began his legal career in The White House, and then joined an AM 100 law firm where he was an Equity Partner, Chair of the firm’s Hiring Committee, and practiced international and domestic M&A and business transactions, serving as outside general counsel and consigliere to public, PE/VC-backed, and family enterprises. Rich then joined his own family’s third-generation enterprise before managing two different single-family offices as non-family leader. Prior to founding Xylogenesis® | Family Office Advisory, Rich managed a global family business consulting firm. He now consults for family offices, whether existing or in concept, supporting the family and their family office staff, and team of multidisciplinary trusted advisors. Rich graduated from the Georgetown University Law Center (LL.M, International Transactions and Comparative Law with distinction), Gonzaga University School of Law (JD, cum laude and Editor of The Law Review), and University of Illinois – Champaign-Urbana (BS, Agriculture Economics with honors) and resides in a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri.

He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.

Philip Jalufka is a veteran of the U.S. Army’s special operations, West Point graduate, author, and business leader. From a car accident that nearly ended his life to a series of difficult challenges, he has learned to stay true to a vision and become an inspiring leader. Entrepreneur: He currently serves as CEO of Legacy International, a company he founded and cultivated to worldwide success. Legacy International is a residential and resort sales and marketing firm that specializes in executing sales platforms and processes for home builders and developers of master-planned communities. He has built a network of world-class strategic partnerships with a single underlying goal: With Philip’s real estate and sales leadership, the company represents an active portfolio of more than $1B in annual sales revenue. In July 2018, Philip organized Legacy Performance Capital (LPC), an asset management firm, that now resources four to five micro-market real estate ventures per year, with a current center of gravity in Texas. In September 2020, Philip announced that Legacy International executed a Builder Developer Services Expansion Initiative with the #1 real estate firm in the world, Keller Williams (KWRI), once again demonstrating real estate leadership. Army Veteran: Jalufka proudly served his country as a commissioned, special operations aviation officer in the U.S. Army. Captain Jalufka flew the Chinook helicopter and led highly specialized military teams. Prior to his military service, he received Bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point. While serving in the U. S. Army, Philip earned an MBA from Embry Riddle University.
