Account Deletion

Delete your
account.

This page covers the NxGeN mobile app and web platform, published by NXGEN Holdings LLC. You can delete your account and the personal information attached to it at any time, without contacting anyone.

How to delete your account

From inside the app

  1. Open the NxGeN app and sign in.
  2. Go to the You tab, then Settings.
  3. Choose Delete account.
  4. Read what will be removed, then confirm.
  5. Open the confirmation link we email you. Deletion is scheduled only after you do this.

You can cancel at any point before the deletion runs, either from the same screen in the app or using the cancel link in that same email.

If you can no longer sign in

Lost the device, lost access to the account, or removed the app already? Enter the email address the account uses and we will send the same confirmation link there.

Submitting this does not delete anything on its own. It sends a confirmation link to the address above, and deletion only begins once you open that link.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleting your account removes your personal information from our active systems. A small amount of data is retained where the law requires it or where it can no longer identify you. The timings below match Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

Deleting only some of your data

You do not have to delete the whole account to remove information. You can edit most profile fields yourself in the app, and you can change at any time which fields are visible to the directory, to other members, or only to confirmed connections. For anything else, including a copy of the data we hold about you, write to us.
